Dr Erika Denton has been appointed to chair the group that will provide the clinicians' input into the reform of NHS diagnostic imaging services. Her position, officially titled National Clinical Lead for Diagnostic Imaging, will ostensibly have particular influence on the roll-out of the planned NHS-wide picture archiving and communication (PACS) system.
