Fort Worth, Texas-based Healthpoint has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Elcom of Costa Rica for the marketing and sale of Healthpoint biomaterial wound treatments in Costa Rica, El Salvador and Panama. San Jose-based Elcom, which already has experience in distributing advanced wound care products in Costa Rica, will sell Healthpoint's Oasis wound and burn matrices, which are based on Cook Biotech's extracellular matrix that uses porcine small intestinal submucosa. Healthpoint is part of the DFB Pharmaceuticals group, of San Antonio, Texas.
