Jane Bower, Graham Beastall and David Grahame have been re-appointed to the Scottish Hospital Endowments Research Trust (SHERT). Professor Bower is a specialist in human genetics and the commercialisation of academic science and technology; she is a member of the Scottish Stem Cell Steering Group, among other bodies. Dr Beastall is a consultant clinical scientist in clinical biochemistry for NHS Greater Glasgow, and fellow (and former vice-president) of the Royal College of Pathologists. Mr Grahame specialises in commercialising Scottish R&D intellectual property and is a member of, among other things, the European Business Angels Network.
