The FDA's cellular, tissue and gene therapies advisory committee will discuss cellular therapies for the repair and regeneration of joint surfaces on March 3, the first of two days of meetings in Rockville, Maryland. The panel was formerly called the biological response modifiers advisory committee but was renamed after cellular, tissue and gene therapies were reorganised into one division at the FDA's biologics centre.
