Executive Summary

Norwegian moves towards digital picture and archiving (PACS) received a boost with the signing of a NKr6.5m ($1.04m) contract for the installation of Sectra's system at three hospitals in the county of Vest-Agder. The contract signed by Sorlandet Sykehus hospital group is for hospitals in Kristiansand, Mandal and Flekke fjord. The order is an extension of an existing similar agreement with Arendal Hospital, in the county of Aust-Agder. Both counties perform around 200,000 radiology examinations per year.
