Executive Summary
DiaSys has signed a deal with Mexican diagnostic products distributor Grupo Mex Lab that will enable the Waterbury, Connecticut firm to sell its parasite sets to private and public labs in Mexico. It said the reimbursed value of the market for these tests is about $140m. Some 28 million parasite tests are performed annually in Mexico, the large majority of them by state bodies. The company has also signed up Chile's largest diagnostics distributor, Galencia, to sell its products throughout the country.
