US eye care services (including medical, surgical and optometrics) company OptiCare Health Systems (Waterbury, Connecticut) has appointed president and general counsel Christopher Walls as CEO. The move follows the departure of Dean Yimoyines, who resigned from the role on his personal $4.2m acquisition of the unit's distribution activities, which were considered non-core by the continuing management. Simultaneously, his wife Linda, and investment group Palisade invested $445,000 and $4m, respectively, in OptiCare Health Systems.
