The president and COO of healthcare communication systems company American Medical Alert (Oceanside, New York) Jack Rhian has been promoted to CEO, effective from January 1 2007. He will retain his role as president. Mr Rhian succeeds company founder Howard Siegel, who will take up the newly created position of senior advisor, to run until December 31 2009. Mr Siegel will maintain his position as chairman of the board.
