The US FDA has given Cook approval to sell its 36mm endovascular graft for treating abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). The Zenith FLEX AAA device is designed to provide a minimally-invasive treatment option for patients with large abdominal aortic neck diameters who previously may not have been candidates for endovascular aortic repair, said the Bloomington, Indiana firm. It can be used to treat AAAs in large aortic necks ranging from 29mm to 32mm in diameter.
