Bjorn Kleiner has been named as the new political contact at BVMed, the German medical technology industry association. Since 2002, Mr Kleiner has been bureau chief for German MP Maria Michalk, with a brief to focus on health politics and social issues. He has also worked in a similar capacity for health minister Dr Sabine Bergman-Pohl.
