Kevin Wilson, CEO of the Scottish medical technology industry association Medical Devices in Scotland, has been appointed chairman of the sector development network MedilinkUK. His 25-year experience in the sector ranges from spin-outs to multinationals in the UK and Europe, in companies such as Ethicon (J&J), Davis & Geck, New Medical Technology and Aortech. The priorities of his six-month tenure will be to represent the needs of the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) segment, particularly in light of the ongoing procurement reforms (see also related story).
