Executive Summary
US medical tourism company PlanetHospital is to expand its services in Costa Rica and Panama. The Calabasas, California company's "ongoing quest to identify locations outside the US for quality, lower cost healthcare services has led it to destinations that meet stringent criteria," announced CEO Rudy Rupak. An example of its established presence in Panama is the Pacifica Hospital. Richard Feldman has been appointed manager of the Costa Rican programme, which is provided at three private hospitals, including the Hospital CIMA, in San Jose, of which Mr Feldman is a former director.
