Executive Summary
UK trauma reduction devices manufacturer Gyrus predicts sales for the half-year ended June 30 of £107m ($199m), an increase of over 125% on the previous year. Most of the expansion has come as a result of the $497m purchase of ACMI in July 2005 (see Clinica No 1162, p 3). On a proforma basis, overall sales showed 10% organic growth, the Reading-based company said this week, just before entering its closed period.
