Cambridge Heart (Bedford, Massachusetts) has appointed Mark Florence as vice-president for sales and marketing to replace Robert LaRoche, who has left the company. Mr Florence, who has 20 years' industry experience, joins the firm from CardioDynamics, where he was vice-president for sales. Cambridge Heart focuses on R&D and commercialisation of technologies for the non-invasive diagnosis of cardiac disease.
