Richard Kramp has assumed leadership of diversified medtech firm Synovis Life Technologies (St Paul, Minnesota) in the role of president. He is to replace CEO Karen Gilles, who will retire on January 3 2007. Mr Kramp will focus on developing the surgical division and broadening the customer base. Before joining Synovis in 2004, Mr Kramp served as president and COO of Medical CV, a US developer of surgical ablation technology for cardiac arrhythmia.
