Zonare Medical Systems is expanding its European operations by setting up a new subsidiary to serve the Nordic countries. Zonare Medicinska System, based in Sweden, Stockholm, will market and service the company's z.one convertible ultrasound systems in that region. The subsidiary will be headed by Gunnar Arveheim, who has over 30 years' experience in the ultrasound industry, having previously worked for ATL (now owned by Philips) and Acuson (now Siemens).
