Estech, the San Ramon, California-based specialist in minimally-invasive instruments for cardiovascular surgery, is to distribute Neoprobe's Quantix blood flow measurement system in the US. The device is designed to provide surgeons with information on the patient's blood flow volume during coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) and carotid endarterectomy procedures. The distribution agreement will enable Dublin, Ohio-based Neoprobe to achieve a broader market penetration, as well as add a complementary product to Estech's existing offerings for improving cardiac surgery outcomes, said the two companies.
