The US FDA has given Neuroscience Therapy 510(k) clearance to market its electro-acupuncture device for treating pain. P-Stim is a miniaturised, battery-powered, transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator that has a pre-programmed frequency, pulse and duration for the stimulation of auricular acupuncture points. Already available in Europe, the device can now enter what the Kirkland, Washington firm describes as a multi-billion dollar US market for pain.
