Executive Summary
Hudson, New Hampshire-based cardiovascular device developer Atrium Medical has extended its agreement with US group purchasing organisation Premier for thoracic drainage products by another three years. Under the terms of the dual-source contract, which took effect on March 1, Atrium will supply Premier's hospital members with products from its entire chest drainage device range including more recent additions such as the Express Mini 500 - a waterless, lightweight chest drainage system designed to be worn by the patient- and the Pneumostat chest drain valve.
