Former Clinica reporter Brian Kelly has been appointed associate in the life sciences department of the international law firm Covington & Burling (London, UK). Currently a trainee solicitor with C&B, from early 2008 his role will involve advising industry clients on global regulatory issues related to the medical devices, diagnostics and nanotech sectors. The department's specialist areas include adverse event reporting, licensing, combination/borderline product regulation, advertising and labelling.
