Cardima (Fremont, California), a developer of diagnostics and devices to address cardiac arrhythmias, has employed Sung Chun as chief medical officer. Dr Chun, a cardiologist specialising in electrophysiology, has a long association with the company, having assisted with clinical trials, product design and enhancements. He joins the company as it is due to start commercialising its products. Dr Chun is currently the director of the cardiac arrhythmia service at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. He has taken part in many significant electrophysiology trials and his research has been widely published.
