Executive Summary

The UK public may have an increased knowledge of chlamydia compared to five years ago, but this is to no avail as there is not enough capacity in the UK to screen for the condition. So says the UK Family Planning Association, which this week criticised as "irrelevant" Office of National Statistics (ONS) claims this week that 84% of men and 92% of women were "aware" of the condition in 2006-07.
