Immunodiagnostic Systems (IDS - Tyne and Wear, UK) has appointed Dagmar Kasper as business development and country manager of its recently-created diagnostics subsidiary IDS Nordic (originally Nordic Bioscience Diagnostics - NBD). Dr Kasper, who had established the US, Virginia-based NBD site in 2002, re-joins the firm from German biotech company Epidauros, where she held a senior business development role. Dr Kasper will build up the subsidiary, develop an R&D interface between it and the main company, lead sales and marketing and assess future business opportunities for the subsidiary.
