James Ehlen has been appointed CEO of Epien Medical, a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based company focused on devices that provide surface repair of damaged and diseased mucosa and skin in the oral cavity. Dr Ehlen's primary remit is to lead ongoing research and development of the firm's proprietary tissue re-surfacing technology. Dr Ehlen is currently a clinical professor of internal medicine at the University of Minnesota Hospital and board director on several medical company and health association boards.
