The UK's Health Protection Agency (HPA) has published a summary of responses to its proposals on the development of a national microbiology services network for the food, water and environmental (FW&E) sectors. The HPA is "putting together regional plans in order to drive the process forward, which will involve regional visits to meet local stakeholders," said the agency.
