Singapore firm Rockeby biomed has teamed up with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS) to develop a rapid, point-of-care test for hand, foot and mouth disease (HFMD). The research project has been issued a medical technology proof-of-concept grant of S$200,000 (US$132,000) from the country's Economic Development Board.
