Therapeutic temperature management firm Medivance has sealed a series D financing round worth $23m. Existing investors Cross Atlantic Partners, Camden Partners, Skyline Ventures and Partisan Management combined with new shareholder MDY Healthcare to contribute the funds. The proceeds will be channelled towards the development of the company's Arctic Sun therapeutic cooling system and other new products. The Arctic Sun is becoming established in treating the brain after stroke, cardiac arrest, fever, trauma and other critical conditions, claims the Louisville, Colorado firm.
