Servicing doubts lead to new Baxter pump recall

This article was originally published in Clinica

Executive Summary

Deerfield, Illinois-based Baxter said the FDA has given a class I label to a recall of 534 Colleague and Flo-Gard infusion pumps that may not have been properly serviced. The news came days after the US agency had given the most severe designation to Baxter's recall of 4,500 upgraded Colleague triple-channel pumps (see Clinica No 1266, p 10).
