OrbusNeich has gained European go-ahead for three interventional cardiology products: the Blazer cobalt chromium stent, the Sapphire PTCA dilatation catheter and the Lumina 6F guiding catheter. Blazer comprises a dual helix design and thin stent struts, which enable physicians to "overcome the flexibility challenges associated with the slotted tube construction of most stents", claimed the firm, which is headquartered in Hong Kong.
