The China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) is assisting the ministry of commerce's international economic co-operation bureau and department of foreign aid in compiling a catalogue of domestic medical devices and companies. The registry is intended to be used to demonstrate the product quality of local manufacturers and enable the Chinese industry to profile its range of products and services overseas.
