Executive Summary
PerkinElmer Optoelectronics' PAX-10 xenon lightsource is now available in Spain through its Madrid-based distributor, Lober. The new 10-watt device (first launched in the US at the end of March 2007) uses the Salem, Massachusetts company's proprietary pulsed xenon light technology; its precision arc alignment feature offers OEMs plug-and-play field replacement versatility. It is said to be "ideally suited" to a variety of clinical, research and instrumentation-based applications, including absorbance, fluorescence, drug discovery, UV/Vis spectrometry, clinical chemistry, IVD and proteomics.
