Integra, Amco sign distribution contract for Japanese market:

Plainsboro, New Jersey's Integra LifeSciences has sealed an exclusive five-year contract with medical products distributor Amco to promote and sell its Cusa Excel ultrasonic surgical aspirator product line in Japan. Tokyo-based Amco already maintains a longstanding relationship with Integra's surgical instrument manufacturing arm, Jarit Surgical Instruments. The Cusa Excel products deal with the selective removal of soft tissue in surgery, using its TissueSelect technology. Additionally, Jarit has contracted a three-year deal to offer its surgical and laparoscopic instruments to members of MedAssets Supply Chain Systems, the Atlanta, Georgia-based healthcare alliance.
