Electrosurgical products manufacturer Bovie Medical (Melville, New York) has appointed Steve Livneh and Steve MacLaren to its board of directors. Mr Livneh, a mechanical engineer and inventor, is president of Bovie Canada. He is currently developing electrosurgery instruments for gynaecology, urology and thoracic and general surgery. Mr MacLaren is an accountant and owns Ronin Business Consulting, which serves Bovie Medical. His areas of expertise are technical analysis techniques and trading systems.
