Wyndgate Technologies (El Dorado Hills, California), a supplier of information management systems to blood centers and hospital transfusion centers, has formed a strategic alliance with healthcare information technology company Cerner. The partnership will see Kansas City, Missouri-based Cerner market Wyndgate's blood management software in conjunction with its Millenium Suite laboratory information system. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. In a move to expand its presence internationally, Wyndgate's parent company Global Med last month acquired French donor center and transfusion information management systems Inlog, in a deal worth $11.5m.
