The organisers of Brazilian medtech trade fair Hospitalar have said that this year's event, which takes place during June 10-13, in Sao Paulo, will smash previous records for the number of exhibitors. Boosted by a 32% increase in exhibition area, 370 firms from 31 countries are scheduled to attend - up 20% on 2007. This 15th annual edition also features better "sectoring" of the trade fair, according to the organisers. Hospitalar, Latin America's largest healthcare trade event, is seen as a gateway into markets other than Brazil's, despite the Spanish/Portuguese language barrier.
