Executive Summary
Safety syringe manufacturer Inviro Medical Devices is to gain access to a network of over 1,500 hospitals and healthcare providers in the US and Puerto Rico following a deal with group purchasing organisation Health Affiliated Services (HAS). The GPO, part of the Premier group, will make available to its members Inviro's complete portfolio of syringe products, including the company's flagship line of InviroSNAP! safety syringes. The line, launched in 2006, features syringes with a "distinctive" manually retractable design that "bridges the gap between bulky retro-fitted models and more expensive automatic retractable syringes", says Atlanta, Georgia-based Inviro.
