Orthotic and prosthetic patient care services provider Hanger Orthopedic is to add another nine additional rehabilitation centres to its over 600-strong facilities network in the US. Hanger gained the new centres by acquiring, for an undisclosed sum, Colorado Professional Medical; Beverly Hills Prosthetics-Orthotics; Orthotic-Prosthetic Center; Precision Orthotics of Tucson; and Compton-Jones Orthotics. Bethesda, Maryland-based Hanger said the acquisitions will be accretive to earning on completion of the initial integration period.
