Cook Medical (Bloomington, Indiana) has named Nicky James vice-president and global leader of the company's urology business unit. Ms James joined Cook in 2000 and became North American sales manager for urology in 2007. She was selected as acting global business unit leader in 2009. Educated as a registered general nurse at Royal London Hospital in London, Ms James has also served as global product manager for endourology, regional manager for North Europe and in other sales and sales management positions for Cook’s urology division. She succeeds Jerry French, a senior executive with more than 20 years' tenure at Cook; Mr French is assuming other senior management duties within the company.
