Vicor Technologies has hired Lloyd Chesney as chief technology officer (CTO) and Michael Harwitz as senior systems architect, creating a formal IT department. Mr Chesney has over 20 years of healthcare IT experience, and was previously CTO of MDVIP, a concierge healthcare company that provides personalised preventative medicine. Mr Harwitz has more than 15 years' experience, most recently providing Medical Data Group, a digital medical records management company, with product development services. Vicor (Boca Raton, Florida) develops diagnostic software using its proprietary PD2i algorithm, which can identify patients at risk of sudden cardiac death and trauma victims in need of immediate intervention.
