One of Spain's leading radiotherapy and nuclear medicine experts, Professor Vicente Pedraza Muriel, has been appointed to the national royal academy of medicine (RANM), the country's influential medical policy body. His inaugural speech, due to be delivered at an event hosted by the academy tomorrow in Madrid, is on the subject "The underlying biological mechanisms involved in radiotherapy".
