What selling lessons can we learn from a peek back to the aftermath of October 19 1987 – Black Monday? On that single day of collapse, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 22%, a larger loss than 1929’s Great Depression. As the 1990’s dawned, the world was gripped by recession; the Soviet Union had dissolved; the Persian Gulf War loomed; and banking crises had resulted in loan restrictions.
