Blacktoe gears up for SonicEye launch with new CEO and VP of sales

In anticipation of the launch its flagship SonicEye probe, ultrasonic technology specialist Blacktoe Medical (Portland, Oregon) has appointed Mike Temple as CEO and Scott Ronk as vice-president of sales, marketing and business development. Mr Temple has held senior management positions in a range of publicly-listed and privately-held medtech companies including Bioject Medical Technologies, Inovise Medical and Instromedix. Mr Ronk’s background is in the diagnostic imaging and ultrasound industry – he was most recently vice-president of sales at Siemens Medical’s ultrasound division. The SonicEye is a fingertip-mounted ultrasound probe that allows simultaneous imaging with tactile feedback.
