Medical diagnostic equipment manufacturer Welch Allyn has appointed Karen Roscher as senior vice-president and chief financial officer. Ms Roscher joins the Skaneateles Falls, New York firm from Conexant Systems, a semiconductor company, where she held a similar position. She succeeds Kevin Cahill, who retired in February after serving Welch Allyn for over 20 years. Welch Allyn said Ms Roscher's M&A and international financial planning experiences will be a benefit to the company, in particular during this current, challenging economic climate.
