Professor Lord Ara Darzi is to stand down as UK parliamentary under-secretary for health. He will continue to perform his programmed ministerial duties until the start of the summer recess, on July 21. While resigning his ministerial roles, he will continue to support the Department of Health (DH) in an "advisory role".
