Executive Summary
Mechanical circulatory support developer CircuLite has appointed Peter Pfreundschuh as CFO. He joins the Saddle Brook, New Jersey firm as it expands research into the long-term use of its Synergy micro-pump, pursues plans to CE mark it during 2009 and plans to pilot trial the device in the US, under an IDE. Mr Pfreundschuh has over 15 years' experience in the life sciences industry, most recently with AstraZeneca, as head of business development, and previously with Johnson & Johnson, as controller of R&D and controller-director of marketing and global business analytics.
