Computer-aided detection (CAD) technology specialist Confirma has signed a European marketing agreement for its lead CADstream technology with Bayer Healthcare’s imaging subsidiary, Medrad. In a bid to advance patient care in the EU, Medrad (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) will sell the CADstream operating system for breast and prostate cancer in the UK, Germany and Italy. CADstream is designed to work specifically for radiology networks and workflow-specific MRI applications.
