French start-up PrimaDiag is to pump €365,000 ($520,000) of angel funding it recently raised into advancing the development of its robotic platform designed to automate biological processes for lab diagnostics and research. The Paris-based firm's PrimaRWS workstations offer a budget-priced, customisable solution to medium-sized labs, enabling them to automate sample preparation, reading and data analysis. PrimaDiag said it has several partnerships with labs underway and the new funding will enable it to negotiate new deals. The investment was provided by Sibessor and Investessor.
