Fillip for Sectra in Spain with Galicia region's PACS commitment

The Spanish region of Galicia has taken a further step in installing digital picture archiving and communications (PACS) across its public healthcare network. The regional health authority (SERGAS) has given Swedish imaging IT specialist Sectra the contract to supply five major hospitals with its PACS systems and software, as part of the region's "totally integrated radiological solution". Carlos Cardoso, president of Sectra Iberia, described the development as a "strategic step into the public healthcare market in Spain".
