Orthofix Int’l finds CFO replacement; also exec VP

Orthofix International (Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles) has appointed Robert Vaters as executive vice-president and as CFO, in which latter role he replaces Timothy Adams, who resigned on April 30. Mr Vaters joins from Inamed (acquired by Allergan in March 2006), where he served in the same roles and also as head of strategy and corporate development. Orthofix manufactures a line of surgical and non-surgical products for the spine, orthopaedics, sports medicine and vascular market sectors.
