Executive Summary
Low cost drug delivery company I-Flow (Lake Forest, California) has extended the distribution horizons of its ON-Q pain relief system, after signing a three-year national purchasing deal with US HealthTrust Purchasing Group. The deal, which will come into effect on October 1 2008, will see HealthTrust provide its members with I-Flow’s ON-Q PainBuster pain relief system, ON-Q SilverSoaker antimicrobial catheter with SilvaGard, and ON-Q C-bloc continuous nerve block products. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. HealthTrust provides medical technology to more than 1,400 acute care facilities in the US, and claims to have an annual purchasing volume exceeding $13bn.
